Fashiontv Romania and Constanta City Hall invite you on Saturday, 5th of July, to the special edition which will open the series of events on the Fashion Summer Festival 2014 stage.

The first show of the Mamaia Carnival 2014 will take place Saturday, the 5th of July, at 21:00, in Piateta Casino in Mamaia. This is the place where during the entire summer season tourists are expected for the events organized by fashiontv Romania as part of the Fashion Summer Festival Mamaia 2014.

Saturday, the 5th of July, Mamaia will transform into ancient Rome, at its forefront none other than Emperor Caesar! The Mayor of Constanta, Radu Mazare, the king of the carnival, will play Caesar, the roman emperor, his son, Raducu Mazare, accompanying him during the show in the role of Brutus. Gladiator fights and scenes that will recreate the atmosphere of Cleopatra’s ancient Egypt are all part of the show for which Mamaia is preparing feverishly. At the same time, some of the most beautiful Romanian women selected through the fashiontv Caravan have already reached the seaside and you’ll be able to admire them during the show, wearing impressive outfits.

The spectacular floats – including that of Constanta City Hall, on which the Mayor Radu Mazare will be located – will parade through Mamaia, the carnival’s starting point being the base of Telegondola Sud and ending up in the Piateta Cazino.

The Mamaia Carnival will take place from the 5th of July until the 23rd of August 2014,  already reaching its third year of entertaining tourists at the seaside. In 2013, the show attracted a record number of tourists – over 30.000 viewers gathering for the special edition that ended the season.

For this years special editions, Mayor Radu Mazare will play two other roles: Ramses and Stefan cel Mare.
