For a weekend, Mamaia became the capital of Romanian fashion, being the host of the most famous Romanian designers and brands, the most important beauty contest of the summer and exceptional artists. The first event of the Fashion Summer Festival Mamaia 2015 series brought to the Casino Market new spectacular moments for the thousands of tourists present at the shows.
The headliner of the event was Catalin Botezatu with the presentation of the Wild collection, but also the latest Fashiontv collection by Catalin Botezatu and Pallugio Constanta. Because Romanian Fashion Weekend was exclusively dedicated to Romanian fashion, on the stage of Casino Market were presented the latest collections of the designers and brands Lashez by Catalin Botezatu, Frankie Garage, Wonder Lolita by Maria Simion, Louis Purple, Cielle Couture by Cristina Rose, ROGVAIV by Paula Florean and Sapphire Workshop. At the invitation of the organizers, 7 young graduates from the Faculty of Art and Design in Cluj have shown to the public through their original collections that the future of Romanian fashion will be spectacular: the Urban Rebirth collection of the MACEDA brand by Malina Potra, Cezara Muresan and Daniela Socaciu, Urban Gheisa by Oana Pop, Untitled by Diana Ilea, Sayuri by Paula Florean and Glam`Or by Alex Moldovan.
Like every year, the beautiful youngsters enrolled in the Miss Seasidel title have impressed the audience with the bathing suits test, but also through a choreography specific to the contest, giving the audience the famous navy salute. They continued with the evening dress test. The 32 young women enrolled at Miss Seaside 2015 were selected through the Fashiontv Caravan and the www.fpeople.ro website. The girls competed for the great Miss Seaside 2015 title and as well to get a chance to participate at the Miss Fashiontv Black Sea International contest that will be held next weekend within the International Fashion Weekend event. Miss Seaside 2015 was named Monica Bărbulescu from Ploiesti. All Miss Seaside 2015 winners won free photo sessions and professional books from Fashiontv, as well as the opportunity to participate at Fashiontv events around the world.
Every evening of the Romanian Fashion Weekend ended with extraordinary recitals supported by Marcel Pavel, Maria Cărneci and Admiral C4C.
