MAYOR RADU MAZARE HAS PLAYED RULER STEPHEN THE GREAT IN A NEW SPECIAL EDITION OF MAMAIA CARNIVAL

A new exceptional event organized by FashionTV on Fashion Summer Festival 2014 stage, ruled this weekend’s entertainment calendar in Mamaia and had established a new record of spectactors present this season in Casino Square in the beautiful seaside resort.

It was an 100% Romanian show, who recreated loved and familiar scenes of our history. Mayor Radu Mazare has played the ruler Stephen the Great and spectators of all ages were surprised by the real showdown on stage. Contanta City Hall’s float stunned the audience with an impressive decoration that had a huge bull head, representing the old state emblem of Moldavia Country. With an impeccable direction, actors and professional stunt recreated the historical battles between the Romans and the Turks, while the beautiful FashionTV models wore folk costumes or have become chosen ladies from the Moldovia Counntry or odalisque in the Turkish camp.

Special guest were the famous folk singers Irina Loghin and Maria Carneci, who played important roles in the show. Irina Loghin became the mother of Stephen the Great and Maria Carneci refreshed in our memory the brave Vrancioaia’s legend, who would have helped the Moldovian prince to defeat the Turks.

The floats of Mamaia’s clubs were one more spectacular than the other and the show that gave was more impressive than ever. Within the event, FashionTV also offered the tourists fashion shows of designer Andreea Dogaru, Daniel Racovizza, Fashion Workshop Cati Dogaru for Princess Summer Club & Beach (bride on the catwalk was Oana Craioveanu, Princess Club manager) and also fashion shows of brands Vero Milan and Atmosphere. The show ended dancing on A lu’Mamaia song,  this year’s anthem of  the beautiful Romanian resort. The fun continued in Mamaia until morning.

The Carnival continues next weekend at the Baby Fashion Weekend, an event dedicated to children’s fashion and to Mini Miss and Mini Mister Seaside competition.

Mamaia is the first and only resort in Europe which offers tourists free performances in all the summer season throughout spectacular events organized by FashionTV within Fashion Summer Festival 2014.
